Become the Leader of your Dreams 

Some will agree, some won't but one of the most essential things to grasp is that as a Do As I Do leader, your job is not to be popular, it is to be consistent.

That requires being able to consistently Do The Right Thing, whether that is hard or easy.

We will go to work on this muscle right out of the blocks.

The 1st Key concept of leadership you will develop as a Do AS I Do leader.

The 2nd Key To becoming a Do As I Do leader.

It seems pretty obvious until you look around and observe how people behave.

As a Do AS I Doi leader, you will set such an example to others around you that there is no way that they will not join you.

And for those who refuse, you will have options, some of which are easier to access once your observations have been made.

The 3rd Key To becoming a Do As I Do leader

But before you get excited or worked up about the Love word, this is not about anything relational or involving inappropriateness. 

Love in a business sense, is love for the people, their results, their work, your work, the business and the Customer...... Most assuredly the customer.

Learning to build Rapport, Love and Trust will cement your relationships, will make doing business easier.

Another of the keys to Leadership greatness.

Being real, being prepared to own your mistakes, your shortcomings, your failures, being first to put your hand up when things are not tracking how they should, acknowledging others for their input and results and certainly not taking praise for other people's work. 

the hardest key to being a Do As I Do leader is to be accountable and to be prepared to hold people accountable.

Without strengthening this muscle your hopes of becoming a great leader are diminishing.

Accountability is not about blame shifting, or beating either yourself or other people up when things are not working, it is being prepared to stand up and be accountable for what has happened and taking steps to ensure that it doesn't happen again.

As your leadership muscles strengthen, holding accountability will become as natural as taking breath.

A big key to being a Do As I Do leader is to learn Humility, be humble. It makes you relatable, accessible to people, to know that you are one of them.

"Just a Humble Cleaner", is how I introduced myself for years. My family hated it.

The truth is I have worked on and off, in the Cleaning Industry for 37 years. I know how to clean pretty much anything, even though for the most part my role was in Executive functions.

I just did not and still don't want to big note myself.

You wont become the leader of your dreams overnight and it will happen, with time and effort, kind of like going to the gym for your mind.
