Hi and Welcome to this latest edition of Elevation By Nesso.
Of late it seems that each time I send out Elevation that there is another significant weather event upon us.
With two cyclones hitting North Queensland in a week, one of those being a monster, we can only be thankful that Yasi chose to put down in a relatively small part of the world on the Cassowary Coast. That is not to demean the shear devastation that the people who live in those towns would be feeling and experiencing after losing everything, what it did mean is that the predicted killer storm was not able to reap the predicted havoc, had it unleashed its full fury on a larger more densely populated area such as the tropical cities of Cairns and Townsville with their populations exceeding 100,000.
Who would have thought though that the after effects would have been felt so far south? One of my clients in Mildura was up to his ankles in water in his car dealership. When I spoke to Jason last night he was just hoping to see the water subside before the next 120mm of rain falls today.
There are some new things on the horizon for you and we invite you to read on to find out more. We have an offer for you to be able to attend a webinar by Pete Williams of Preneur Marketing and have just released the new and improved Mindshop Growth and Profit Diagnostic on line for you to complete and have us follow you up with a Free phone interpretation.
Till next time, have a great day, stay safe and hug someone you love.
Ross and the Nesso Team.
Happy New Year greetings to all our loyal readers.
It is with a heavy heart that I send this New Year edition of Elevation By Nesso.
We have been witnessing some of the worst flooding seen in Australia ever, bush fires in Western Australia, Blizzards throughout Europe and North America and a series of natural animal death events overseas. All in the first 15 days of 2011.
If you are like the team at Nesso you would have been glad to see the end of 2010, with a recovery from the GFC and a business year that was interspersed with people still coming to terms with the fallout from the GFC and a buoyant and bright outlook for what 2011 might bring.
If you have not been personally affected by any or all of the above named events you are now being presented with an opportunity to do something positive about it. Now is not the time to drop the ball and wonder when the world will come to an end.
Now is YOUR time. The time for you to stand up, present yourself in the best way possible, make business happen so that YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE to the lives of those people who are less fortunate than yourself, those who are doing it really tough.
You have a responsibility as a human being to make a difference by making money and putting back into the economy, to make a charitable donation if you can, give your time as a volunteer or whatever you think will make the biggest difference.
Please read through the couple of articles here and do whatever you can.
We are here to assist you in what you do, to have you being and doing your best.
Best wishes for 2011 and please spare a thought for your Neighbour.
The Nesso team.
Good afternoon.

Hi and Welcome to the Spring edition of Elevation By Nesso.
It has been a very wet start to Spring around the country with plenty of rain, some beautiful weather and then some really ordinary stuff too.
It is amazing the similarities between weather and business. One minute things are really good and then they are not.
The only difference is that we have no control over the weather.
You do however have control over your business as I do with mine. More importantly we have an ability to choose our response to certain circumstances, we can curl up in a corner and hope the bad weather passes or we can come out swinging and make our own luck.
Which do you choose?
In this edition we are letting you know about a few events and things we are involved in and and challenging you to prove to yourself that you are prepared to tough it out when it needs toughing out.
Until next time, Be strong and enjoy great success.
The Nesso Team
Welcome to the latest edition of Elevation By Nesso.
As the sun starts to set on another financial year and a new year dawns it is always a prudent thing to look at your plan for the coming year.
In this edition we have a special offer for you to take up and a challenge for you to consider.
We have some contributions from the Nesso team and an article to provoke you into action about how you lead.
As it is winter in Australia, snow is falling in the Alps (for those of reading this in Europe, Northern Asia or North America, the Australian Alps would be considered Hills in your area), the tennis is on TV late at night from Wimbledon, the World Cup is on in South Africa and the Tour De France is starting soon. Great for sports lovers who can't sleep.
Notwithstanding all of the great sport that is on we had another favorite sport occupying minds yesterday with the spilling of the position of our Prime Minister and the historic appointment of the first female Prime Minister in Australia's history.
What all of this means in the grand scheme of life and business who really knows, so it is even more important that you now consider what you want to create for yourself and your business in the next 12 months so take this small piece of advice and plan, plan, plan and then put it into action.
Till next time, keep having fun and strive for excellence, whatever that means for you.
Regards Ross and the whole Nesso Team.
We know that this is late notice however we are running a Workshop next Thursday the 10th of June at the Beau Monde International and we thought that it might be something you may be interested in for a couple of managers.
This workshop is about managing Generational Change, specifically How to get the Best out of Generation Y Employees.
Read on to find out more
Should you require any further information please don't hesitate to contact me.

It is at this time each year that I encourage YOU to look at the coming year and what you want to accomplish.
We have made you offers in the past that some of you have taken advantage of and others have not.
We would hate to disappoint you, so in the spirit of giving that this time of the year brings we have an offer for you that is really amazing.

We would also like to welcome Glenn Evans to the Nesso team. Glenn is based in Northern Victoria (Kyabram) and will work with Ross to continue the association that Nesso has with Provincial Victoria.
Stay tuned for future events in the provincial areas to complement our planned events for Melbourne and surrounds in 2010.

With the Spring racing carnival now in full swing and Melbourne Cup Day upon us It is time to look at what the rest of the year looks like for you and your business.
Christmas is just around the corner, the New Year following closely behind and then into a 5 month thrust to close out the Financial Year.
It all sounds daunting doesn't it?
It need not be! We are experts at working with you to get through the rest of the year to finish, what was presumed to be the worst year since the Great Depression. How have you fared in this climate and what would you like from us at this time?
We would like to hear from you, the good the bad and the ugly. War Stories are always good to hear. The best
Until next time BE YOUR BEST

Welcome to the new year that is 2009. It may be the start of a new revolution for many people.
What a start to the year we have had. If it was not enough that the global financial crisis has started to hit home for many people, Australia has been hit by some pretty freakish weather events.
We have also had the commencement of a new era in Global Politics with the swearing in of President Obama. An historic moment where (a bit like Neil Armstrong walking on the moon and JFK being shot) most people in the future will remember what the were doing.
So let us ponder this question. What will be the revolution in your business in 2009?
We look forward to speaking with you at some stage soon to hear your reply.
All the best
Ross, Travis and the Team at Nesso
PS: If you are in the process of recruiting new people, or considering who you should be keeping, don't forget the Integrity and Values Profile. It helps you know what someone will be like when the honeymoon is over and helps you to plan personal development activities for the ones you are keeping.
Hi and welcome to the latest edition of Elevation by Nesso - the e-zine to help you and your business go higher!
It’s been several months since our last edition, and during that time we have spoken to many of our clients to ask them about the type of information they wanted to receive in their inbox. Overwhelmingly, the feedback was for more content, but also more choice, so our new look newsletter now has much shorter abridged articles, with links to our website for more detailed articles. We have also launched new blogs, which can easily be RSS’d (click here to learn how) through our website.
There will be more changes in the weeks to come, so keep an eye out in your inbox, and at our website www.nesso.com.au.
Regards, Ross and Travis.
Welcome to this very brief news letter from Nesso.
It has been a while since our last installment and we have been very busy working on a whole range of issues for our clients and readers to be able tpo capitalise on.
More of that info to come later but in the meantime here is some breaking news.
Regards Ross and Travis
Well another year is almost over. If you are like me you will be starting to wonder where it has all gone. Hopefully like me you will not be wondering was this the year that could have been but did not amount to much.
As all of our clients and friends are aware, at Nesso we want to be our best every day and have everyone who we come into contact with to be their best every day. It is when you are looking in the mirror at the end of the day just before you go to bed that you get the chance to assess your effort for the day.
The end of the year presents that same opportunity. Did I give my best? Only you can judge.
I will allow you to ponder that question over the Festive Season and then choose what you would like to do for next year, Your best all the time or some of the time. Your results will depend on that, let alone how satisfied you will be 12 months from now.
From all the team at Nesso we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year and all the best into 2008.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Good afternoon to you all,
It's pretty exciting times here at Nesso right now.
Just yesterday afternoon we relaunched the look of our website after a bit more than 3 years.
Our web site strategists and designers at bwired have done a great job of bringing us into a new world.
We have Blogger, we have a new look and feel and over time you will see a lot more information coming into your inbox. (not too much though)
Enjoy.
From all of us here at Nesso.

Welcome to this short and sweet edition of the Nesso news.
Waste is a very topical issue for business at the moment and one that affects all businesses.
We hope that this article helps you to complete a terrific end to the 2005-06 Financial Year.

The Nesso team
Well what a month March was.
The Commonwealth Games have been held in Melbourne, The Winter Olympics in Torino, The AFL, The NRL and Super 14s are all back on. Seems that we are a bit sport obsessed. The talk around the water cooler goes from how well we have done, how poorly we have done, so and so should have done better. The talk just goes on..
I often wonder whether these sporting obsessions are real or are they a way of us avoiding the real issues in our businesses and our lives.
Imagine if you were able to find a way to have your team so passionately involved in your business, or even if you were as passionate about your business as you are about who won and lost on the weekend.
This month we tackle that issue and hopefully provide you with a way to create that obsession or rediscover that passion for your business. It might just turn into bottom line results either now or when you want to retire to the sporting and business hall of fame nearby.
Enjoy this issue and have a great time.
Welcome to the Nesso News.
It has been a while since our last edition of the Nesso News, Christmas and the New Year have come and gone. We have been busy with a whole series of things including attending the Mindshop Australasia Conference at Coolum in January. Many exciting things have occured this year already and we look forward to seeing you through the year and possibly being able to assist you to reach your full potential.
Until next time enjoy the Nesso News, good luck and have a great 2006.
Best regards, Ross, Marsha and Shauna.
It is with great sadness that we are writing this newsletter not 48 hours after another terrorist attack against innocent people in Bali.
At Nesso we believe that all people deserve to go about their business as peacefully as possible and without fear of persecution or harm.
We sincerely hope that some sense is restored to world order to ensure a bright future for all of the human race.
Wishing you all a bright and peaceful spring ahead
Regards
Ross Mitchell and the Nesso Team
