The formula for change potential in your business is...
Client | Ken Muston Automotive |
Address | 215 Benalla Road Shepparton Vic 3630 |
Contact | Ken Muston, Dealer Principal and Managing Director www.kenmuston.com.au |
Background | Ken Muston Automotive commenced business in 1979 initially as a Motor Mechanic business that grew and grew and grew. Ken and his team hold dealerships for Mercedes Benz, Subaru, Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge and used cars. |
Scope | Initially Ken felt that the business required a Business Plan to provide a direction for the business. It was also acknowledged that profitability needed to improve and ken felt that because the team were so close to the coal face that they could not be objective enough to take appropriate actions to change direction. It was also acknowledged that the business needed some fresh ideas. Ken also stated that he wanted to be in a position where he did not need to go to work comfortable in knowing that the team were rock solid and the business stable. |
Results | As at this time we still work with Ken and his team. As of December 2009 Ken's team told him they don't need him at work other than to work through financial decisions. (He was quietly pleased and surprised. He was also disappointed to know that his team felt they don't really need him there) Since then we have worked with the team on leadership, business strategy, visioning and business waste removal. Today our work is mainly in business strategy and leadership development. In the time we have worked with Ken and the team, profit has reached record levels and the team are highly functional.

Feedback | Ken was moved to speak about the work that Nesso has done in terms of "Ross and his team ask the questions that you have not wanted to ask yourself" Bottom line for Ken and the Ken Muston business is that coaching has not cost them money, it has been an investment that has been continually recouped. |
