March 14, 2008 - Nesso finishes runner-up in the Whitehorse Business Group Excellence in Business Awards

Nesso received recognition for finishing runner-up in the 2008 Best Small Business in Whitehorse Award.

Nesso was also nominated in the Environmental Sustainability Award category, finishing third. As a first-time entrant in this category, Nesso was thrilled that their Corporate Values and Commitment to the Environment were considered so highly. We encourage all firms to make similar commitments to the sustainability of our precious resources, and adopt sustainability policies and procedures.

We would like to thank the City of Whitehorse for the recognition, and congratulate all winners on the night, and encourage all businesses in Whitehorse to "be their best, every day".

March 18, 2004 - Nesso wins Whitehorse Business Award

At a gala dinner at the Box Hill Town Hall held on Thursday the 18th of March 2004, Nesso was announced as the winner of the Start Up Business category, for Excellence in Business for the City of Whitehorse.

In accepting the award Nesso Managing Director, Ross Mitchell acknowledged all finalists and more particularly all business owners of any size for “having a go every day”.

He said that he felt privileged to be the recipient of an award such as this, after such a short time in the business. He said that Nesso was only conceived in the last year and came to life in November 2003.

Nesso would also like to congratulate all participants and finalists in each category with special mentions going to The Tudor Box Hill and Box Hill Institute, as major winners of multiple awards.

February, 2004 - Nesso a finalist in Whitehorse Excellence in Business Awards

Nesso has been nominated as a finalist in the Whitehorse Excellence in Business Awards to be announced at a gala dinner on Thursday 18th March at the Box Hill Town Hall.

The awards are hosted by the Whitehorse Business Group with major sponsorship provided by the City of Whitehorse Council

The Excellence in Business Awards aim to recognise the significant contribution business makes to the economy of the City of Whitehorse. In recognising the business community the Awards reward and identify leaders in the field, new business operators, innovators and provide a forum for business to showcase their initiatives.

In promoting business excellence and developing strategic partners for business to business opportunities the Awards position business operators as key drivers for ongoing development in the City of Whitehorse.

Ross Mitchell believes that the nomination is a confirmation of the commitment to excellence that Nesso stands for and wishes all finalists in all categories great success in both the event and for their ongoing business.
