The formula for change potential in your business is...
Born and educated at Sale in Gippsland, and raised on a diary farm at Seaspray on the Ninety Mile Beach, Ann was not only the first female, but the first person in the local district to complete secondary school and go on to university in Melbourne. She began her lifelong learning career as a secondary teacher at Yarrawonga and now has over thirty five years experience in education and training in both Victorian and NSW public and private secondary schools; in Bendigo and Swinburne Institutes of TAFE in Victoria; the Riverina Institute of TAFE NSW and in the corporate sector in Melbourne.
Ann is well aware of the challenges of leadership and management in business today. Having co owned and managed at various times, a caravan park, a motel and four farms in Victoria and NSW, Ann truly understands the pressures and demands on business owners and managers (and their families) and how critical it is for a business to develop its people to ensure its survival in a competitive and constantly changing global environment. Her experience in senior and middle management positions with the Riverina Institute of TAFE (NSW), the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and more recently, Horticultural Skills Australia has shown her the difference that inspired and values based leadership makes to the bottom line of a business or organisation.
Ann has a natural ability to challenge, inspire and encourage and loves to work with individuals to develop the self awareness, vision, direction, skills and inspiration to create their own choices and opportunities for success. Ann works with current and emerging managers at all levels to identify their strengths and weaknesses and to ensure that their developing business leadership capability includes making time for quality life away from work.
In believing that everyone has resources deep within themselves to make a difference to their lives, Ann’s great strength as a coach and facilitator is her ability to compassionately challenge and support individuals to be responsible and accountable for the outcomes they want in their lives.
Ann is a past President of the Wagga Wagga branch of Toastmasters International and has been an active member of the Council of the Victorian National Parks Association since 2006. She is a member of the International Coach Federation, the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Coaching and Box Hill Central Rotary Club.
Dedicated to lifelong learning and her own professional growth and development, Ann has national qualifications in teaching, training and facilitation, frontline management, business and workplace coaching. She is an accredited Integrity and Values Licensee and is currently learning to speak Spanish!
Through her training, coaching and speaking programs Ann is totally dedicated to ensuring that learning and development for life and leadership is not only a practical and rewarding experience, but that it’s also enjoyable.
For leadership coaching, training, facilitation and public speaking, Ann can be contacted on 1300 4 NESSO or mobile 0438 293049 or by email ann@nesso.com.au
